This is an exciting time at JFK Medical Center and we are proud to be the hospital leader in Palm Beach County. Our facility continues to produce strong volumes, superb clinical programs and the latest in technology and next year, we will be celebrating our 50th anniversary of delivering top quality healthcare to our community.
We have recently attained a number of major accomplishments. First, our Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) program, which started three years ago, is one of the top programs. It is also in the top 10% in volumes in the state and top 20% nationally. Secondly, JFK Medical Center has been recognized as one of the 2014 & 2015 Truven Health Top 50 Cardiovascular hospitals in the Country- this prestigious annual award honors hospitals that have led the way with superior performance in Cardiovascular Service in four key areas, including Outcomes of Care, Service-Line Efficiency, Financial Performance and Core Measures Alignment. And finally, at the end of this year, we will be expanding our service lines by opening an Obstetrics Unit.
Our extension into the community with our two offsite Emergency Rooms provide 24-hour access to Experienced, Board-Certified Emergency Room Physicians, State-of-the-Art Imaging and Diagnostic Equipment and a Fully Equipped Laboratory in both Palm Beach Gardens and Boynton Beach.
As an affiliate of University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, JFK serves as the major training site for the University’s Regional Campus Internal Medicine Residency program. As a teaching hospital, JFK Medical Center is a part of an elite group of hospitals across the U.S., as only 6% of hospitals in the country are teaching facilities.
Looking forward, we will continue to bring break-throughs in Cardiac and Cancer Care, as well as the latest diagnostic tools and procedures to JFK, in order to care for the community in the best way possible.
Thank you for choosing us as your healthcare provider of choice. We look forward to caring for you and your family for many years to come.
