When you're faced with a stubborn, non-healing wound, the JFK Medical Center Wound Management team can provide a level of skill, experience and follow-up care you won't find anywhere else. JFK Medical Center Wound Management is among the most experienced and knowledgeable wound treatment teams in the region. Staffed by physicians representing a wide range of disciplines, we're equipped to treat non-healing wounds resulting from diabetes, poor circulation, venous disease, infection, surgical procedures and other problems. Providing patients with the most advanced wound care treatment and care from specially trained nurses insures that you will get the best treatment available today.

Your First Visit

Your initial visit will include a thorough review of your health and any medications you're taking. Simple tests will be conducted to assess your circulation. Our team of specialists will then develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. The plan-designed to heal your wound as quickly as possible, will include regular visits to our outpatient facility, as well as comprehensive instructions on home care, including dressing changes, infection prevention and education on preventing future wounds.

High-Quality Care

At JFK Medical Center Wound Management, we're committed to a level of care that goes beyond what you'll find at most wound care clinics. For example, we meticulously follow up on every patient visit. You'll receive a call from a Wound Management nurse the next day, checking on your condition and making sure you understand all your home care instructions. We'll even help you secure supplies, if that's a problem.
