Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers the same quality clinical care as our inpatient program. Patients participate in four hours of structured therapy per treatment day, five days per week, and can return home in the evening. This is an option for those who need more support and structure than outpatient treatment can provide, but do not require 24-hour medical supervision. Some patients are admitted directly to partial hospitalization programs, while others step down from inpatient care.
The primary goal of PHP is to optimize outcomes through individualized treatment in a caring and therapeutic environment. Individual, family and group counseling will help improve a patient’s level of functioning and reduce symptoms to prevent relapse or hospitalization.
Each patient participates in a formal comprehensive clinical evaluation completed by our team of clinicians, which consists of psychiatrists, social workers and registered nurses. Individualized treatment plans incorporate the results of the multidisciplinary evaluations to include the patient’s strengths, limitations and goals for treatment.

Our treatment team will coordinate with the patient's psychiatrist, therapist and/or significant others, to develop an aftercare plan. This may include therapy referrals, support groups, and/or community services.
